The cold snap in January caused many of the usual creatures around my studio to spend their time in dens and nests out of sight, but this armadillo decided it was worth braving the cold to come forage in the bright sunlight.
This reminds me that I have yet to include an armadillo in the subject matter for a painting. Now if I can just think up an interesting art composition for one.
